Maddie Collins

  

Maddie Collins earned their BA in History from Mount Holyoke College in 2014 with a focus in Medieval Studies and a minor in English. They are currently a Master's student in the Department of History at the University of Florida specializing in medieval European history and working towards completing a certificate in museum studies. Their research interests include gender, identity, archaeology, agency and autonomy, museum accessibility, and museums and social justice. Maddie's MA research project focuses on the use of medievalism in American white identity and white nationalism. They currently serve as Treasurer for the History Graduate Society. Maddie is also the program coordinator at the Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere
